In 1920, Norman lived at 2052 E. 90th St. Cleveland:
head, Charles E. WILLIAMS, 52, OH OH OH, butcher-own shop
wife, Elizabeth D., 48, OH OH OH
dau, Edna O., 28, OH, bookkeeper-bank
*son, Norman C., 20, OH, auto mechanic
dau, Ethel, 14, OHor
There are too many choices for Charles and/or Elizabeth in the 1930 census. However, I am fairly sure that Edna married Victor F. BREITENSTEIN between Sept. and Dec. 1925.
Victor Frank Breitenstein registered for the WWI draft in Cleveland on 12 Sep 1918. He was b 22 Feb 1881 in Dover, OH, was an employee of the IRS and his nearest relative was Mrs. Mary A. Breitenstein in Canton, Stark, OH.
He also registered for the WWII draft in Elyria, Lorain, OH. He gave the same birthdate and lived at 348 E. ?Hgts. Blvd., Elyria. The person that would always know his whereabouts was Mrs. Edna O. Breitenstein, same address. Victor was a clerk with First Savings & Loan, Elyria.
Now the good part! Victor and Edna are both in the SSDI at http://ssdi.rootsweb.com/http://ssdi.rootsweb.com/. Victor d 2 Sep 1975 in Lorain Co. and Edna d 5 Jan 1982 in Summit Co. The unfortunate part is that as of 1930 they did not have any children.
Edna's obit was published in the "Akron Beacon Journal" on 7 Jan 1982 on page C9, column 1. See http://www.akronlibrary.org/internetresources/sc/Obits/obits.htmlhttp://www.akronlibrary.org/internetresources/sc/Obits/obits.html on how to search and order copies of obits.
Edna was 90 when she died and Norman or Ethel may be mentioned in her obit. If they aren't, her obit would still be very helpful; some relative may remember Uncle Norman or his children.
I am not related and the above info is offered in hopes it concerns the person you are seeking.
