I'm doing some genealogical research. My name is Eduardo Cruz, I'm 49, Ecuadorian but my great grand father was from the Cleveland, Oh, (or so I've been told).
He came to Ecuador in the 1890's to help building the train, so I’m looking almost everywhere in order to find further information about him.
His name was William and he had a brother named Joseph Albert Ladd I don’t know where o when they were born All I know is that my great grand father died and was buried in Guayaquil, Ecuador on aug 26th 1920.
He married my great grand mother (Mercedes Adriana Lopez Molina, ecuadorian)in Ecuador around 1894 and had 10 chikdren (5 of them were born in Guatemala ?!, among them my grand Mother.
Of my ecuadorian family (lópez' side) I have a lot of imformation but nothing from my "american" ancestor.
Any information will be really appreciated.
