Hello, I have found on Ancestry.com a record of naturalization for two individuals (my g.grandfather and his son). What is the quickest way to get the actual first papers and final papers? I need the information on them soon, as someone I know is going to Romania soon, and I need to know William's town of birth to see if that person can get any records (i.e. birth) for me while they are over there. Here is what the card reads: KHANER, William Roumania (his signature) Age 43, Petition No. 27020 Issued by District U.S. at Cleveland, Ohio Date of order of admission May 13, 1927 Declaration of Intention No. 34594 Issued by Clerk of the District Court of Cleveland, Ohio on the 25th day of Aug., 1920. Name, age and place of residence of wife (left blank) Names, ages and places of residence of minor children: Fanny 17 years, Isadore 13 years, Ben 7 years, Cleveland, Ohio. No. 2603597 The second certificate reads; Name KHANER, Max William residing at 10808 Orville Ave., Cleveland, Ohio Age 35 years. Date of order of admission Nov 17, 1939 Date certificate issued Nov 17, 1939 by the US District Court at Cleveland, Ohio Petition No. 68478 British (card is signed by Max William Khaner) Max William was born in Montreal, but his father, William, was born in Romania and immigrated to Montreal sometime in the late 1800s, early 1900s. They were a jewish family. Any help is appreciated! Thanks! Julie Notify Administrator about this message?
