Thanks for your comments. I am interested as my grandmother could speak Hebrew, Yiddish and Hungarian according to family documents. She married at age 20 in 1904 so must have learned while at home with her parents. Also my grandparents were known as the Jewish Family per notes in the same letters. I will continue to persue information. Again thanks.
