Richard,
I have had several relatives live on Hill St. If it is the same Hill St., it was located just west of downtown (called the Flats now). Hill St. was approximately 30 blocks from 57th. Also, I don't believe that Cleveland will ever get rid of Erie cemetery. It is a city landmark.
By the way, I live in a suburb of Cleveland. I have access to all Cleveland and Cuyahoga records. Let me know if you need anything.
