Charlie,
The information available on-line from the Ohio Historical Society stops in about 1938. My other source is Ancetry.com but the death index doesn't start until about 1958, and it is a subscription service. So there is about a 20 year gap. Obituaries from Cuyahoga County can be found at www.cpl.org. Click on "Necrology File". This data base covers many death announcement from 1850-1975. I hope this helps you.
