This is an old query so I'll not go into a lot of detail with it. Let me know if you still need more on this line.

Martin Bacon was the son of Ralph and Mary Jordan Bacon. He was born at Mentor, Ohio, July 30, 1809. He moved with his father in 1820, to a farm three miles east of Bucyrus, Crawford County, Ohio, containing 240 acres....On December 15, 1833, he married Jane Hughes Kemis and they had children George, Clark, Warren, William, Mary, Willis and Clarissa.
