I am seeking information on John W. Bauer (b1828) who emigrated from Bavaria in the mid-1800s. He first settled in Columbus, then moved to Galion, Ohio. His three children, Catherine (b1860) George (b1862) and Mary (b1867), were born in Galion. John served in the Civil War, then lived in Galion for a number of years before moving to Akron where he died in in 1902.
