I have a John B. Ulsh b. 27Sep1790; d. 07Nov1840 in Cedar Rapids, IA. He may have moved from Perry County, PA, Pfoutz Valley, to OH by wagon train in 1826 to Crawford Co., OH before moving West. He married to Elizabeth Shope.
This John Ulsh was a son of Christopher Ulsh b. 02Jun1769; d. 28Apr1843 and buried at St. Michaels Church Cemetery in Phoutz Valley, Perry Co., PA. He married on 07Jul1780 to Lydia Burns, and they had eight known children. Christopher Ulsh was a son of Johann Andreas Ulsh b. ab. 1734 in Saxony,Germany;d. 1803 in Perry County, PA; he had four known children.
