I am seeking information regarding family members who were living in Gallion, Crawford County according to the 1910 census. The Browns who were listed in the 1900 and 1910 census were my greatgrandmother and grandmother, Ella Brown and Marie Brown, respectively. Ella was a widow of Dr. Chauncy Brown who died before the 1900 census, the date is unknown. Marie was a student in the 1900 census and then a school teacher in the 1910 census. Marie was recruited by the Red Cross during World War I and served in France as a dietitian with the US Army. Ella and Marie moved to Ashland County before the war. The Rusks were listed in the 1910 census, I have yet to search the 1900 census or earlier. Emma E. Rusk was listed as a widow; her children included: Macie, Chauncy, Ella, Glenn, and Donald. I have reason to believe that she had at least two more children. This informtion comes from an obit for Ella Brown August, 1931; the names of Mrs. George Romig, Orlee and John Rusk were also listed. Emma Rusk was originally Emma Wilcoxon and was Ella's older sister. Emma married John W. Rusk in Tuscarawas County Ohio in 1873. Any further information on this family or its descendents would be appreciated.
