I will be in Coshocton in july, and looking forward to looking through the library there. Do you know if they have any records from 1826, through 1900? Any help you can give me with the book you were talking about would be appreciated. I am told by my family that JOhn Hammel Born in 1755 in Pennsylvania moved his family from Somerset, Pa in about 1805 or so. JOhn's wife name is Catherine. I was told they were buried in Coshocton in 1826. I have looked and cannot find them. Their son Thomas Hammel Sr. and his wife Sarah (Lee) Hammel died about 1855. Also told they are buried in Coshocton. I have found my 3rd Great Grandparents in Newcastle Cemetery: Thomas and Rebecca Hammel, Thomas died Feb 21, 1885, and REbecca died October 24, 1879. Their son Jonathan died at a young age in 1874. I would like to find newpaper clippings that can give me more information or an alive relative in that area. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
Thank you,
Denise
