Thank you for the information on Mary Hammel. I am related to her. I have found some of my Hammel family in the Newcastle cemetery. Thomas and Rebecca Hammel, their son Jonathan. Their daughter Margaret and grandson are buried there too. But they do not have stones. Another child of Thomas and Rebecca is Edith (Hammel) Garrison. She is buried in Newcastle also.
They lived in Newcastle from 1810 to 1920. I am surprised there isnt more information about their family. But maybe they kept to themselves.
I was looking for the burial spots of Thomas's dad and grandpa. Dad: Thomas & Sarah (Lee) Hammel lived in Perry, also Grandpa: John and Catherine Hammel. I am going to visit Coshocton in July and was hoping I could find more info on my family. Or an alive relative. Thank you for your time and help.
