Village of East Union

I'm trying to determine if the village of East Union still exists and where it might be in the county. I believe it was originally called Clayville or Claysville. In 1859 it had some stone houses there, one of which was known as the Cochran Buck Stone House; the other was the Whitmore Stone House. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Cindy
