Parks/Tanker 1860 Coshocton Co OH Census. HELP!

Andrew Jackson Tanker is listed with George Parks age 21 1860 Census
in 1850 he is listed as Andrew age 12.
He married in Putnam Co Oh 1865 raised his children as "Parks" and went by the name "Parks" except for this one Census.
However the family believed he was adopted.
Was there actually a "Tanker" family in OH
Census records say he was born in MD,NY & NY.
Help!!!
Any clues on this family would be greatly appreciated.
