Daniel and Samuel Mullen
Posted by: George Stradtman (ID *****1023) Date: August 09, 2011 at 18:52:04

Brothers Daniel, Samuel, and William T. Mullen were born in the eastern counties of Pennsylvania, as was their sister Mary Ann, in the years after their father Edward arrived from Ireland in 1816. Their mother Anna (nee Tinsley) was born in Chester County, PA. William T. stayed in Pennsylvania and became a manufacturer of threshing machines and agricultural implements in Lancaster, PA. Mary Ann ran a rooming house in Manheim, Lancaster County, PA. At the time of William's death in 1907, his newspaper obituary said that Daniel and Samuel were living "in the west." I've traced Daniel to Leetonia and Salem through census records but have found nothing about Samuel beyond the blurb in his brother William's obit. Would be interested in hearing from anyone else who has been looking into this family line.
