I have Smiths in Clark Twp., Clinton Co., OH during 1820s from (W)VA.
John, b. c1799 married Elizabeth Crousore/Crowser in 1818.
Ama Jemima, b. c1802, married Jacob Crousore/Crowser in 1822. There were also brothers Abraham/Abram, William R., maybe Henry W. There could be other sisters.
Smiths, Crousores, Reels & others went to Rush, Madison, Delaware & Howard Counties in Indiana. Any connection to your Smiths?
