Hamilton Co. Civile War Gravestone Ceremony

I thought some of you might have an interest in this dedication ceremony. This ought to be interesting and fun.

On Sunday 24 May 2009 at 2:00 there is going to be a Civil War Gravestone Ceremony at Laurel Cemetery In Madisonville, Cincinnati (5915 Roe St. 45227) for a Calvin Deem. The Son's of the Union Veterans will be there for the ceremony. They are Re-enactors and will be in period uniform and serve as Color Guard. They will be there for the dedication and will stay around for a while afterward to answer any questions.

Calvin Deem was a Civil War Veteran with no marker. A few people got together to get him a marker and they will have this ceremony for it, in case anyone is in that area and would like to see it.

Lori Deible Chaffin
