Marlyn,
No,I am not from Clinton County. I live in Indiana and
my Mother's family(Kizer)came here in 1852 from Clinton Co. The Abraham Kizer you are researching was the son of
Jacob Kizer and Hannah Rinehart of Clark Co., OH. This Jacob was the son of a Jacob Kizer Sr. of very early Clark Co. Abraham had a son Samuel who married Martha Turner in
Highland Co.,OH. Abraham had a brother Samuel who first married a Martha Severs in Clinton Co. and then Orcella
Freeborn in Clinton Co. You need to see the 1850 Federal census of Clark Co. to see the two Jacob Kizer households
side by side and go from there. Abraham lived some in Fayette Co.,OH.
As far as I can tell, this is not my Kizer line. I descend from a Samuel Kizer who married Elizabeth Rix in 1840 in Clinton Co.,OH but he doesn't seem to be from this line.
You may want to check out some of my posts on the Kizer

Best regards,
David Watson
