Miars-Stout-Davis-Miller Families in 1850's

My ancestor John Miars (Myers)appears in Green township in the 1850 census. He was born about 1802 in Virginia. I strongly suspect he is related to Martin Miers who came to Clinton Co. from Hampshire Co. Virginia in 1811, but they aren't father and son. Martin had several brothers, but don't know how many might have come with him. It is known that Martin's father started the trip, but turned back. In the 1850 census others listed in the John Miers household are Rachel Davis age 12, David Miller age 7, & Delilah Stout age 4. All of the children were born in Ohio. I have no idea how these 3 children fit into the family. John's wife is Lucinda, maiden name uncertain, born Virginia. It could be she is Lucy Thrailkill (Threlkeld)who married a John Miars Sept 24, 1822 in Clinton Co. Their sons still at home in 1850 include Stephen, age 24, Joseph age 17, & Michael age 16.
