Cindi - I also connect to ANDREW BROWN, but through his daughter ANN, b. ca 1807 VA (or PA), she died Jan 08, 1895 in Andrew Co., MO, and was married to JOHN M. JOHNS on Feb 15, 1827 in Clinton Co., OH.
Would love to exchange info with you on Andrew Brown’s ancestry and on his other children. Most all of my info is on ANN - her descendants and the ancestry of her husband John. I have limited additional info on her father Andrew, his 3rd(?) wife CATHERINE UNKNOWN and their two sons WILLIAM & SAMUEL.
In regard to son Samuel (b.1797), I have; "Samuel Brown m. PHOEBE SMITH, Aug. 9, 1821." - this from “Early Marriages of Clinton Co., OH, 1810-1864” as copied by the George Clinton Chapter of the DAR. The Genealogical Society, Salt Lake, microfilmed #0317345. (Text has no page #’s – is an alpha list.)
