Friends Cemetery, New Vienna

We stopped at this small Quaker Cemetery thinking it was the N.V. IOOF Cemetery. Luckily the Friends sign was turned around and we did get out and look around. I recognized some of the names and took pictures of the stones of Stephen HUSSEY and Martha Chamness HUSSEY. The were part of my family tree. My brother looked around and could then see the IOOF Cemetery up on a hill not too far away. We drove to it. It was such a hot muggy day and we did search for our family, finding COX and TERRELLS, but no DEWEYS. My camera quit working here so no more photos. I know there are also family members at the Blanchester IOOF, but we never made it there. We had spent three days at Chillicothe finding my Grandfather, Frederick Dewey's Gaurdianship records and his parents death notices. The people at the Ross Co. Probate Dept, Historical Society, and Library were all so nice and helpful. I wish I could have gotten to Willmington and Goshen in Clermont County, but I was tiring out and also my flight out of Nashville would be leaving before I got back to my brother's in Kentucky, if we made any more stops. School starts tomorrow and I will be there. Maybe next year I can get back to my Roots in Ohio again. Janice
