Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Hi David, I may have a couple of leads for you to check out. First, in the Clinton County Marriages book there are other Ricks/Rix marriages listed. I'd be happy to give you those if you don't already have them. Also, that name rang a bell; one of the Hayes lines out of Chester County, PA, descendants of Henry Hayes of that county, is a Hayes/Ricks family that migrates to Nelson County, Kentucky. A Hayes researcher on the Hayes GenForum is working on them. Also, be sure to check out Frederick County, MD, as that is where many of the PA German families settled initially, moving back and forth between there, NC, and PA. I will keep my eyes open for any Samuel Kizer/Kaiser and get back to you with it--or any other info that might help. Joan
