Yes I have more on this Sarah Urton. Sarah L. Urton was the daughter of Ephraim(Ephrium) Urton and Sarah J. Smith Urton. Ephraim's will is dated 8-12-1870. Ephraim was the son of John Urton (1785-1846) and Lucy Weaver (1782-1824,dtr of Danial and Barbara Blankenbaker Weaver). Ephraim married Sarah J. Smith and had 4 children, the mentioned Sarah who first married a Joseph B. Carson on 10-21-1869 *ref4,7*, then the David Castledive on 2-4-1880 *ref4,7a*. The other children include Lucins D. Urton, Elias H. Urton and Nancy E. Urton. Nancy E. married a Cleland in 1869.
Back to the John and Lucy Weaver Urton line. You hit the jackpot here. I have this line WAY back. John married 3 times and had 21 (twenty one) children. John (1785-1871) was the son of Thomas S. Urton Sr (1759-1825), who was the son of John Urton I (1709/10), son of William Urton(abt 1672), son of George of Lightwood Urton (1643-1717), son of Anthony Urton (d1660).
The above Thomas S. Urton Sr. was a Revolutionary war soldier who came from Culpepper Co, Va to Ohio in 1818. He settled in Warren County, Ohio, where Lebanon is the present day county seat. There are many stories and follow ups on this line.
I am presently trying to convert a huge box of loose papers into a computer file using generations family tree. But my time is very limited. At least you now know that this Sarah Urton is part of one HUGE branch of the Urton family tree. Good Luck,,,,,,Maxine
