I did not try to follow Wilford Evans so I only know bare facts at first check. Wilford EVANS was born ca 1814 OH, Clermont Co and married to Christina Ellis on 17 Jan 1845 in Brown Co, OH. I have Mckendree Cem records at home and can check for that. I would point out that it is an abandoned cemetery even though it has Civil War veterans in it. Have fought for years trying to keep a fence up and the cows from Simmerman out. Lots of people do not have headstones. Some have fallen into the creek bed.
I was tracking Piner and Oliver because William H WATKINS my gggrandfather married 2nd Mary Ann Crist the divorced wife of Oliver EVANS, younger brother of Wilford and Piner EVANS. Piner Evans was his friend. Piner is buried in McKendree for sure. Piner was born 29 Oct 1820 married 3 Aug 1841 to Susan DeWitt (b: 27 Aug 1813 and died 21 Sep 1873)and Piner died 30 Sept 1889. They are all the children of James EVANS and Ruth Bonar.
