Seeking information on my gggrandfather John A. Sharp. He was born in Ohio in 1812 and is believed to have died prior to 1890. I have found the following information regarding a John A. Sharp who was born in Clermont Co. Ohio but have no further information to confirm they are the same:
John Sharp born 3-13-1812 Clermont OH; died 5-24-1889.
My John A. Sharp's father was born in New Jersey and mother was born in Virginia per census records.
Any information to confirm or discount this connection would be appreciated.
