Amy the old county home which did have indigent people living there at one time has a rich history. Ity was also used as a children't home and then had county office there. We adopted our son in 1974 and Social Services was located there then. I have a few pictures of the building's before they were torn down.It was torn down a couple of years ago and the Clermont County Historical Society have books from there with names in them. Who was the person from Owensville? I have lived here since I was 6 weeks old in 1947. I may be able to help you. I am a memeber of the Owensville Historical Society and have lots of newspaper articles and etc. I can also get you in touch with the Clermont County Society. If I can get your email I can forward their newsletters to you. Also our membership is $10.00 a year and we have several newsletters a year.
