Can anyone tell me anymore information about the following Adam?

Adam came from PA to Goshen, Clermont Co., OH in 1801, lived by the George Sheltterlys and was on jury duty there in 1804. He had a son David. From "History of Clermont co" p 108 & 490. The author of this book describes an early church congregation of a list of men each with his wife. This Adam was listed without a wife but with son David. This Adam was a chain carrier while in Clermont Co for a surveyor of a large area of land, William Lytle. This
from the Virginia Militar Survey's of Clermont and Hamilton Cos, OH 1787- 1849 by Alma Aicholtz Smith. The book was published by the author in 1985. Also according to this book, Adam Hoy bought a parcel from William Lytle on the banks of Obannon Creek. The town of Goshen in on Obannon Creek in the township of Goshen. Later Adam sold the land in two seperate parcels. He was in an 1802 census of that county and on the tax list of 1806 and 1810. A book says that the Adam of Clermont Co came to Clermont in the spring of 1801 and was from the Pennsylvania Hoys of German extraction. This Adam lived next to George and Barbara Shetterly in Clermont. Barbara was the son of Philip Penn or granddaughter of Philip Hoy I.

I got this information second hand. I haven't actually seen the info in the
book, so if anyone has the book, would they mind verifing what's here?
