We are looking for information pertaining to Allen Trimble Bishop, his wife Abigail Davis, and their children, grandchildren, and other descendents. Allen Trimble Bishop was born 10 Aug. 1827 in Clark Co. OH, the son of John Bishop III and Nancy Welch. John Bishop III was the son of John Bishop II and his first wife Mary Ann Claypool.
Allen Trimble Bishop married Abigail Davis 3 Jan. 1852 in Champaign Co. OH. She was born circa 1834 in OH. She is living with her husband and daughters in McLean Co. IL in 1870 but cannot be found in the 1880 census. Does anyone know her exact birth and death dates and locations?
In 1860, Allen and Abigail (Davis) Bishop are living in Champaign Co. OH. In 1870, they are living in McLean Co. IL. In 1880, Allen Bishop is an M.D. living by himself in York, Benton Co., Indiana. In 1900, Allen T. Bishop, Physician-Surgeon, age 72, widower, is living by himself on Catalina Island in Los Angeles Co. CA. He cannot be found in the 1910 census. Does anyone know the exact date and location of Allen T. Bishop’s death?
Allen and Abigail (Davis) Bishop had at least three children: Amelia, Sarah, and Chloe.
1. Amelia J. (Millie) Bishop was born in OH circa 1853.
2. Sarah A. Bishop was born in OH in Jul. 1854. She married Perry E. Beeney, probably in IL. They are living in CO in 1900 and 1910. They had two daughters; Abby and Emma.
a. Abby Beeney was born Dec. 1880 in IL. In 1900, she was a school teacher.
b. Emma Beeney was born Jan. 1882 in IL.
3. Chloe A. Bishop was born in OH circa 1863. She married W. F. Cundiff 18 Jul. 1883 in McLean Co. IL.
