Mary Jane HARPER, dau. of William C. HARPER & Elizabeth POLAND, was b. 1843 in Champaign Co., OH. She married John ROBERTSON, date unknown, and lived in Catawba, Clark Co., OH. According to her death certificate, she died Jan. 11, 1920 and is buried in Vernon Cemetery. I have not been able to verify that. Also, according to her death cert., she had been a widow for abt. 10 yrs at the time of her death. Her brother, Joseph HARPER, was the informant on the certificate.

I'm interested in finding an actual date of marrige for Mary, and also any children she and John may have had.

Mary was a sister to my gg-grandfather, John William HARPER. John had left OH for DeWitt Co., IL in early 1870's. Then he settled in Wood River, Hall County, NE in 1893, where he, his wife, and all his children are buried, along with his father, William C. HARPER.
