Forgot to list his parentage...and I haven't uncovered hers...

Father: Jacob Swimley b. 11 Sep 1770 PA
Mother: Eleanor Lewis b. 7 JAN 1775 VA, dau. of David Lewis & Priscella Unknown (Widow of William Marchant)

Note: Jacob was young when his mother died in 1802. His Father re-married in 1804, to a widow named Catherine Snyder, originally born a Pulse.

NOTE: There's probably much more to uncover about Jacob, since he designed some Washington DC buildings at that time period... Where he went in PA - I do not know. I'm not even confident that when he went to Ohio that he was still with Sarah Cochran. While there's a marriage record for them. The 1850 census lists an Eliza C. - so I do not really know if she "is one and the same."

Also - while he is listed in his Father's 1824 Will, he is not listed on the later Deed that distributes property. I believe his brother, Lewis (who was also listed in the Will but not on the Deed distribution) was "with him" in D.C. - and possibly Champaign Ohio.
