Hello,

St. Paris, Champaign Co., Ohio. It is close to Dayton. The train mine went on went down through Indiana and into Missouri. Then on to Kansas. I have never heard of them going into Iowa. Iowa did not seem to be a place most people from Ohio went. At least not at the time. They prefered Kansas and Michigan. I went to the library and they do have books written about immgration patterns. It even depends on what nationality they were. German's stuck together and I know Kansas and Michigan were where most went to. Good luck.
