Hello, I am ot sure it was the very same wagon train but my family left St. Paris in the spring of 1856 or 69 and ended up in Kansas. On it were the Noe, Snapp, Wolgamuth, Reeder families. Of coure all related. I know they went thru Missouri because they had photo's taken there. Stands to reason they would have been in Iowa before that. I have a little written on their experiences on rootsweb.com under Sarah Elizabeth Snapp who was married to Jacob Reeder. I listed the year as 1869 but do not know that for certain. I have no idea how big St Paris was then but it is under 2,000 now in 2009. I bet it is the very same wagon train. I would like to hear from you.
