I believe it is. The info I have for Edward Wallace & family is from the census. Sarah Carson was the niece of my g-g-g-grandfather John Carson, and I haven't done much research on Sarah's father William Carson, who was John's oldest brother. Edward Wallace moved to Vermillion County with his father William and brother Robert between 1820 and 1830. They lived near each other and must have been near the Illinois state line, adjacent to Vermilion and Edgar Counties in Illinois. Edward and Sarah's younger children, born between 1835 and 1846 were said to have been born in Illinois, although the census in 1840 and 1850 showed the family in Indiana. Many of the third-generation Wallaces married people from Edgar County.

Edward Wallace's sister Mary married William Carson's brother Alexander and his sister Nancy married William Lowry, another Butler Co. resident. Those two families moved to Fayette County, Indiana where they died. William & Nancy Lowry moved there between 1820-1830, followed by Alexander & Mary Carson between 1830-1840.
