I am planning to come to Butler County this summer to research my family. Where are good places to go for information?
Does the library have a genealogy department?
Is there a historical society in the area who holds records?
Can one look for probate records easily?
Are the archvie records in the court house or located off site? Are they user friendly? Any suggestions would be appreciated. My family would have been there from about 1830 to the late 1800's.
