I am looking for William Wright (born sometime probably between (1780-1790) and his family that lived in Butler County, Ohio. Family rumor has it that he was born at sea coming from Ireland to New York.
Believe his wife's name was Elizabeth Anderson, he may have been married more than once and not sure if this is his first wife.
William may have lived in Indiana and/or Kentucky before coming to Ohio. We believe he fought in the Civil War.
William Wright, Sr. had a son, William Wright, Jr. born November 25, 1824 died February 11, 1888 in Eagle, Nebraska (Cass County). William Sr. most likely had other children, but I have been unable to locate them yet.
William Jr. fought in the Civil War.
William Jr married Elizabeth Amanda Kendall born 1827 in Kentucky.
They had 12 Children:

James Edward Wright born 1855 in Lawrence Co., Illinois
Thomas Allen Wright born 1857 in Montezuma, Iowa
Elizabeth Amanda Wright born 1860 in Powshiek County, Iowa
Rebecca Evangeline Wright born 1862 in Powshiek County, Iowa
Rosa Maude Wright born in 1870 in Cass Co., Nebraska
Henrietta Anna Wright born in 1873 Cass Co., Nebraska
