Elliott Huffman 1799-1871 buried in Phares Cemetery with wife Rachael Conover 1808-1872. Children: Matilda, Nancy (who married John Detamore), Jobe, Ephrain, Isaac, Rebecca, Mary, Elizabeth, Rachel, Elliott C., Sara, and Joseph.
Also Paul Huffman 1844-1917 (son of Tobias and Mary Huffman Huffman) born and died in Butler County. Buried n Millville Cemetery, with wife Amy Ellen Detamore 1851-1928, daughter of Nancy Huffman and John Detamaore (who ware buried in Gilter, Nebraska, at Lerton Cemetery.
Want to reach descendants of Paul and Amy: Luther, Sarah, Rosetta, David, Clara, Abraham, Martha, Noah, Clinton, and John.
John and Nancy Huffman Detamore emmigrated to Sidney, Champaign County, Illinois, and then onto Hamilton County, Nebraska. All children lived and died in Nebraska, except for Amy Detamore Huffman, who continued on in Butler and raised her family there.
John and Nancy are my great great grandparents. They were married March 20, 1851, in Dayton. John and Nancy's descendants have a reunion in Giltner, Nebraska, on the 2nd Saturday of June each year at the Old Opera House.
