brown county ohio frazee families

searching for a frazee family which has ties to canadian families. My grandfather told his children he was born in canada, fathers family was from northern france, mother an indian, and they died when he was about 5 or 6. When he married my grandmother in March of 1896, he gave his age as at least 21. He celebrated his birthday in september. If he was actually 21, he would have to be born by 1874. He claimed to have been raised by Frazee family and ran away at about the age of 13. He told children his origional name was something similar to pommeroie, and had something to do with apples. Pommeroie is french for apple orchard, but no such name shows up in the 1881 canadian census. He went by the name Charles Alexander Lee Frazee. On my fathers birth certificate, his birthplace is listed as georgetown ohio, which is where he was supposed to have been adopted. In later documents he gave his birth as about 1878, so may have said he was older to marry grandmother.
Any leads would be appreciated.
