Esther Ewing, daughter of Robert and Jane, married William Beare 3 March 1801 in Mason County,KY. The excerpt of the Beers History you quoted is probably the closest you will ever get to documenting this Ewing immigration - I've been looking for 8 years and found nothing else. There's a lot of info available through various marriage and census records for the family tree and most of its branches.
I am a descendent of Armstrong/Ewing and am willing to share my information.
