Yes, clearly there has been some confusion of the Isom Hatfield's. The Isom who was s/o Thomas has to be much, much older than Louisa's father, and Louisa's father makes much more sense to be a grandson of the older Thomas.

I appreciate your comments, and when I have a little time to dig into this, I will let you know what I find.
