This questions was asked on the GLAZE genforum page. My answer: I descend from the elusive John GLAZE residing in Charles County, Maryland. He died in 1738/39. He and his wife, Miss Sarah, have eight children; three girls and five boys. When the five boys reached majority, two migrated "south" and three migrated "north" from Charles County, Maryland. The most prominent feature of my direct GLAZE male lineage through John & Sarah's son, Samuel, is a pair of protruding ears. We see in "the ears" running through seven generations of Glaze males starting with Samuel's great-grandson, James Albert Glaze, born 1814 in Brown County, OH. Black to light brown hair coloring. Dark brown to hazel/green eyes. Height and weight varied. My dad has black hair, dark hazel eyes, 5'10" tall, and weighs 185. His most unique feature besides "the ears" is his RED beard and moustache (when he grew them out). Go figure!! Notify Administrator about this message?
