Looking for descendants of Samuel Hopkins and Mary Scadden who m. Brown Co. OH 25 Jan. 1825.
Samuel was evidently the son of Genethan Hopkins whose line is documented to 1636.
The Hopkins family moved to Brown Co. from Bourbon Co. KY after a tax record of 1815 but before census of 1820.
Other children of Genethan and his wife Mary were Ruth (m. Neely), John (m. Armstrong), Malinda (m. Wilson), Levi (m. Hicks) Elizabeth (m. Wilson after her sister died).
