I'm descended from Chambers Shaw, who was one of A.G Shaw's older brothers. I believe A.G. was the source of a legend my grandfather told of an uncle of his father who was with a Wild West show.

I know A.G. (Amberson Gary or A. Garcia) was with a western unit during the Civil War and later became a member of Pawnee Bill's Wild West show.

There used to be a link to A.G.'s autobiography, but it doesn't seem to exist anymore. That tells me it's in digital form. I'm currently trying to collect stories, vignettes, rumors, etc. about Shaw ancestors.
