St. Martin, Charles and Anna Wood

I am looking for the Wood family of St. Martin, OH

Charles and Anna (nee Morgan) Wood came from Stang, County Down Ireland around 1849 and settled in the St. Martin area.

Prior to going to Ohio, they lived in Brooklyn, NY. I have information on a Charles and Anna Wood in NY who also had a daughter Mary. It is probable she died before they left NY.Their children are:

Bridget b. 1852 was born in NYC and died in Fayetteville, OH in 1896 She married John Agness. Their children are Anna, Rose and Frances.

James D. b. 1855 was born in Ohio and died in 1910 in St. Martin. He never married.

John A. b. 1857 was born in St. Martin Ohio and died 1908. He married Louise Noel. Their children were Frank Edward (1882), John Charles (1884), Anna (1886), Arthur (1888), May (1891), Ada (1893) and Robert J. (1895).

Frank married Leah Polesky in 1912. Their children are Frank, Jr. (1913) and John Charles II (1917). Frank, Sr. and his sons had a law firm in Cincinnati. In 1980, the law firm was Wood, Lamping, Slutz and Reckman. My brother, John, had the pleasure of meeting John II and his Aunt Ada Wood Sharp in 1980 along with William Woods son of Felix C. William insisted the last name was spelled with a "S".
Ada Wood Sharp had a son, Charles, who was the editor of a Brown County paper, The News Democrat.

Felix C. b. 1860 in St. Martin and died in 1901. Married Elizabeth Berger in 1893. Their children are Anna (1893) and William (1895)

Rose b. 1863 and died 1900. Never married.

Charles E. b. 1866 in St. Martin and died in Cincinnati in 1923. He married Anna Spilker in 1895. Their children are Thomas Edward (1896), Katherine (1900), Louise (1903), Margaret (1906) and Helen (1908)

Any connections? Does anyone know if the Brown County newspaper The News Democrat is still publishing?

My connection is through Anna (nee Morgan) Wood. She was my great grandfather (John Morgan)'s sister. There may also be a connection through Charles Wood since my great grandmother was Bridget Woods Morgan. They are all from the same area in County Down, Ireland.
