Hi,
Thanks to your help, I have found also another brother, Thomas L. and a family for Absolom Young. I have found a marriage license for Alevelda Young & Lorenzo D. Chapin. I am going to send off for a copy to Menard Co., IL. I have the 1880 census and access to the 1900 for awhile. I found in Mason City, Absalom with his wife Mattie, child, George and his mother, Sarah, widow, and brother Thomas L. Young on the 1900 census. You have been an immense help and I hope I can help you someday!!
