Yes, this Thomas was the son of John Gaskins and Sarah Fee. Written in their youngest son Elias' family bible, their deaths were John - Sept. 17, 1814 and Sarah - May 16, 1814. I do have some info on the Fee's, but I was trying to find any descendants of Thomas Gaskins to see if they had any information on his father John. This John seems to be a brick wall for all researching this line. In the book "The Tenmile Country and Its Pioneer Families" written by Howard Leckey, it list John Gaskins on the assessment roll for Morgan Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania 1785. This is the earlist date I have found for him.
