Evelyn,

I have some Kirkpatricks of Decatur, Brown County, Ohio, which is very close to Liberty Township and Cherry Fork of Adams County, but I don't think they are A.M's immediate family. I have JOHN KIRKPATRICK (b.Jan.20. 1785 in Va.-d.Oct.4, 1857 in Ohio)married to MARGARET CAMPBELL (1789-1859). Both John and Margaret are buried in the Decatur Cemetery. The children I have listed for John and Margaret are:

William Kirkpatrick (born abt. 1818)
Samuel Kirkpatrick (born abt. 1822)
Jane Kirkpatrick (May 19, 1824-May 31, 1903)
John Kirkpatrick (b. abt. 1827)
Campbell Kirkpatrick (b. abt. 1829)
Margaret Kirkpatrick (b. abt. 1834)

Given the location, they are probably close kin to A.M. Kirkpatrick.
