I have most of the Giffen/Giffin headstones from High Ridge posted, but not quite all. The white stones are difficult to photogragh. None of them are yet posted. I experimented with purple foamy soap, but it didn't work. I want to finish all the Giffen/ins at High Ridge. Then flush out the additional surnames. Next time I'm there, I'll look for your names. From memory, there is Greenlee and Wise.
I need help with a few of them. I can't quite make out all the dates, but other individuals may have the information. Perhaps I'll post the photos, with a request for information from those "in the know".
Look at the headstone for Isabell A. Giffin 1822 - 1911.
Perhaps it's Isabella ?
I'm not sure how many cemeteries are in Pease Twp. but have you checked Walnut Grove ? Located at the North end of 4th St. in Martins Ferry, Oh. ?
I know other cemeteries, in Belmont County, have numerous Giffen/in headstones. When I finish High Ride, I'll tackle another one. Although, it may be "Old Tent", in Ohio County, WV.
