Your Giffen/Giffin headstone photos are very good. I have transcribed some of those but have no photos. I have connections to the Giffin's in York Twp., who also came from Kildavee, Co Argyl, Scotland. William Giffin of William and Isabella apparently died before they moved to York Twp., and I'm thinking he may be buried in High Ridge. I also have a William Frazier B 1790 D 1862,that married Nancy (Giffin, I think)b abt 1790 D 1882, both born in Scotland. Elizabeth Giffin B abt 1800 in Scotland, lived with Nancy from the 1850 census thru 1880 and they always lived near the William and Isabella Reid Giffin descendants. If you have anything on them, it would be wonderful.

Also my gggrandparents John and Jane Johnson and ggrandparents Daniel and Arminda Johnson lived in the area of Pease Twp near Hugh and Daniel Giffin. I've never found where they were buried and I thought it might be in High Ridge. I never saw a headstone for them when I was there, but I was looking for the Frazier/Giffin connection at the time. I can't connect the James and Jane Giffen Frazier that are buried there. I have other Johnson's buried in Rock Hill but there was no headstone until I put it there. Lois
