I have THE HISTORY OF BARNESVILLE, by Sheppard, and find the following on the Wileys;
A.S. Wiley along with R. Wright started a hardware store in Barnesville, 1869.
In the early 1900s there were glass factories in Barnesville, and Homer Wiley was "glass tradesman".
there is no mention of the name as one of the early settlers or among the Rev. War vets.....
