New information shows that the Lindsays lived in close proximity to the Harts, Pollocks, Normans and Lucas' in Belmont and Jefferson Counties. Some information that Pollocks, Lucas and Lindsay were also in Scioto County early (1800) and later, 1840 or so. I assume all went from there to Portsmouth, OH, and then to Iowa (Muscatine) I need details to figure out who the parents and siblings of John B. Lindsay (spelling varies) John B. was born in Harrison County 12/25/1820, and married to Margaret Norman in Jefferson Co., Oh. in 1840. I believe the family may have lived in Green TWP and may have moved to Tuscarawas County after 1840. They likely came from Belmont Co. Ohio, John B. moved to Iowa in 1847 and to Oregon in 1849. Related names are Norman, Hart Chaney, Pollock, Johnston, Alberson and others. Any help appreciated
